Federal Programs Planning Meeting


Suwannee District Schools 2016-2017 Federal Programs (NCLB) now the ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act)/Title I Basic, Title I School Improvement, Title I Part C, Title II Part A, Title III ESOL, Title VI, Title X,  21st Century and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) planning meeting will be Monday, February 22, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. in the Suwannee County School Board Meeting Room, 702 Second Street, NW, Live Oak.  All staff, parents, community members, private schools, and other stakeholders who have an interest in the above referenced programs are encouraged to attend and provide input into the planning of next year’s applications.
iReady
Parents, 
This school year, students' progress will be monitored with a new program called iReady.  There will be three diagnostics to monitor students' success.  Please click the link below for more information.

All early release times for SPS are 12:40pm.  If your child is a car rider, please be on time for dismissal.  If your child is a bus rider, please make sure someone is home when your child gets off the bus.

Parents:  Be sure to bring your picture ID when checking students out from the office.
Also, we DO NOT take transportation changes over the phone.  Please be sure to send a signed note with your child when you need to change their transportation.

Bullying will not be tolerated in Suwannee County Schools
It is important that our students have a safe learning environment and therefore there are several methods for reporting suspected bullying incidents:

* You can contact SPS by phone (386-647-4300) and report it to school personnel
* You can make a report in person
