Bullying will not be tolerated in Suwannee County Schools
It is important that our students have a safe learning environment and therefore there are several methods for reporting suspected bullying incidents:

* You can make a report in person

The following dates are designated as early release days for Suwannee District School students. Unless otherwise indicated, students will be released from Suwannee Primary School at 12:40 PM on Early Release days.

Wrist band reminders are put on students wrists the day before each Early Release.
Notification comes in newsletters sent home on Friday of each week.

Teach Flu a Lesson
"Teach Flu a Lesson"

 Suwannee County School Board, in collaboration with Healthy Schools, LLC, will be able to offer “Teach Flu a Lesson” program in all Suwannee County Public Schools this fall.  Healthy Schools LLC,  based in Jacksonville, FL, is a Vaccine for Children Provider, which works with local school districts and local health departments to provide no cost, school based vaccine clinics.  Healthy Schools LLC, was founded by former Jacksonville Jaguar football player, Tony Boselli.

Healthy Schools LLC, will be providing flu vaccination clinics in all Suwannee County Public Schools on September 22, 2014.  The "Teach Flu a Lesson" Vaccine Clinic is voluntary.   In order for students to participate in the convenient at school clinic, parents only have to complete the Parent Authorization Form that will go home with students prior to the vaccine clinics.  Suwannee County School Board staff who would like to participate will also be required to complete an authorization form in order to participate in the vaccine clinic.

Suwannee County Public Schools students will be provided the pain free Flu Mist Quadrivalent vaccine while Suwannee County School Board staff will be provided the Influenza Inactivated Vaccine by injection with no deductible or out of pocket expenses.
